This design of the bumble bee speaks about the current environmental issues impacting many species considered to be vulnerable or endangered. It also speaks about the efforts many indigenous peoples and allies have faced to evoke change with current events such as pipelines and deforestation. I hope that my message will be heard and that a change will happen that will benefit the environment. Bumblebees also represent hard work, productivity, fertility, new beginnings, and the importance of community.
